Born at the
edge of things
Some of the best ideas are born where the land meets the sea. Ours was no different.
Where the land meets the sea.
Standing at
Goat Rock
Standing at Goat Rock on the Sonoma coast, watching the Pacific crash against that ancient sea stack, we felt the same pull that has drawn people to this stretch of coastline for centuries. Something raw and alive - the feeling that the land itself has something to say.
What started as occasionally making wine in the driveway became an ongoing obsession with cider, after we found ourselves with over 50 organic apple and pear trees and a deep desire to let the land speak for itself.
We didn't set out to start a beverage company. We set out to make something honest.

Sonoma County,
through and through
Sonoma County sits at a rare intersection of ocean fog, river valleys, and volcanic soil. The same coastal influence that shapes the region's celebrated wines shapes our ciders - cool mornings, warm afternoons, and the perpetual smell of the sea.
Our cidery is in Petaluma, a working-class agricultural town that has been feeding and fermenting things since the 1850s. We feel at home here. The pace is right, the community is real, and the raw ingredients are extraordinary.
"We didn't want to make cider that tasted like an idea of cider. We wanted to make cider that tasted like a place."
Goat Rock Beverages
Wild, untamed, and honest.
Wild-fermented,
zero compromise
We use the champagne method - traditional bottle conditioning - for a natural effervescence that no added carbonation can replicate. Our ciders ferment with wild and indigenous yeasts, and we add zero sulfites throughout the process.
Biodynamic farming principles guide everything we do in the orchard - treating the land as a living system rather than an extraction machine. Healthy soil produces complex fruit. Complex fruit produces interesting cider.
The result is something genuinely alive: every batch is slightly different, every vintage a true reflection of the year's weather, the health of the orchard, and the mood of the fermentation. We wouldn't have it any other way.
